Therapy for Women and Couples Who Feel Overwhelmed, Disconnected, or Stuck.
You may look like you have everything together on the outside, while inside you feel exhausted, anxious, resentful, disconnected, or unsure of what needs to change.
Maybe you're carrying too much. Maybe your relationship has become a source of stress instead of support. Or maybe you're simply tired of repeating the same patterns and want something to feel different.
Therapy can help you understand what's happening, communicate differently, and create meaningful changes in your life and relationships.
Alison C'de Baca, LPCC
I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with more than a decade of experience helping adults and couples navigate difficult seasons of life. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, practical, and straightforward.I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood—but also a place where meaningful work happens. We'll look at the patterns contributing to what you're experiencing, develop a deeper understanding of why they're happening, and identify realistic ways to create change outside of the therapy room. I draw from evidence-based therapeutic approaches while tailoring therapy to the individual or couple sitting in front of me. You won't receive a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. Instead, we'll work together to determine what you need, what isn't working, and what can help you move forward.

Warm and nonjudgmental
Therapy should feel like a place where you can say the things you may not feel comfortable saying anywhere else.
Practical
Insight is important, but I also want you to leave sessions with a clearer understanding of what you can actually do differently.
Collaborative
You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you recognize patterns, understand what's underneath them, and develop new ways of responding.
Honest
Sometimes growth requires looking at things differently. I will support you while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Focused on real life
The goal isn't simply to feel better during your therapy session. It's for the work we do together to improve your relationships, emotional well-being, and day-to-day life.
What Therapy With Me Is Like
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer a consultation before I schedule?
Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can briefly discuss what you're looking for and determine whether I may be a good fit for you.
[Schedule Your Free Consultation]
Do you take insurance?
I am a private-pay provider and do not bill insurance directly.
If your insurance plan offers out-of-network behavioral health benefits, I can provide documentation for you to submit for possible reimbursement.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. My practice is fully online, and I work with clients throughout New Mexico.
How often will we meet?
Many clients begin with weekly sessions. Depending on your goals and progress, we may eventually decide that meeting less frequently is appropriate.
For couples, frequency will depend on your needs and what we're working on together.
How do I know if you're the right therapist for me?
Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with matters.
That's why I offer a brief consultation before you commit to therapy. You can tell me a little about what's bringing you in, ask questions about my approach, and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

FEES & INSURANCE
My practice is private pay and does not bill insurance directly.
Individual Therapy: $130.00 per session
Couples Therapy: $160.00 per session
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Because every insurance plan is different, I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to ask about your out-of-network behavioral health benefits and deductible.
Choosing private-pay therapy can also provide greater flexibility in determining the focus, frequency, and length of therapy without treatment decisions being dictated by an insurance company.
